Jocelyn is a rising senior pursuing a joint concentration in Romance Languages & Literatures and Government. She hails from the great state of Texas, so she’ll affectionately refer to you guys as y’all. She is passionate about all-things Latin America and loves speaking Spanish as well as making an attempt at Portuguese. Growing up in multicultural cities like Guadalajara and San Antonio, she’s developed a deep fascination with international relations, business, and politics. Outside of Harvard Model Congress, Jocelyn is involved in HACIA Democracy, Women in Business, and the Institute of Politics. Her pastimes include traveling, reading, dancing, and taking siestas!

NICK PAGEL – Vice President

Nick is a rising senior at the College, concentrating in Chemical and Physical Biology. He was born in America, but raised by the world, having spent his formative years in Japan attending this very conference. He’s spent more time in hotel beds than his own bed, and is at home surfing in Bali as he is trudging through the snow in Boston. He has a passion for politics that motivated him to travel thousands of miles to share his love of government with the incredible delegates that compose Harvard Model Congress Latin America! 


NARAYAN NARASIMHAN – Director of Programs

Narayan is a rising senior concentrating in Social Studies, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. His focus field is in law and identity in the Middle East, and he minors in Linguistics with a citation in Arabic. Narayan has staffed HMC conferences in Hong Kong, Dubai, Boston, and Sao Paulo, and is excited to return to HMCLA for his ninth conference. When he is not studying or working, Narayan enjoys long walks in the park, traveling, watching Netflix, and aggressively checking the world section of the New York Times.


PETER GOLDBERG – Director of Technology and Operations

Hailing from Needham, Massachusetts, Peter is a rising junior at the College, concentrating in Computer Science. In addition to HMCLA, Peter is the Vice President for HMC Boston and Director of International Programs for HMC Asia. Outside of HMC, Peter enjoys playing saxophone, long walks on the beach, and hanging out with friends. During high school, Peter developed a strong passion for government and politics, and staffs Harvard Model Congress to help spread civic awareness. Peter is incredibly excited to meet the incredible delegates at HMCLA 2018!


JENNIFER LI – Faculty Liaison

Jenny is a rising senior studying Social Studies and Economics. A Washington, DC native, Jenny has been involved in HMC since her freshman year of high school. Outside of HMC, Jenny is a coxswain for the women’s varsity heavyweight crew team, a Peer Advising Fellow, and involved with the Harvard Association for US-China Relations. In her spare time, she loves to go on long runs, watch Scandal, and eat strawberries. She looks forward to meeting everyone at HMCLA 2018!
